That depends on market demand, phone condition and what you have with the phone
Can you unlock any cell phone?
No. First off the phone must have a sim card and not all phones with a sim card can be unlocked. Most Rogers, Chatr and Fido can be unlocked. Some Telus, Bell, Koodo, Virgin, Wind and Mobilicity can be unlocked. If you have further questions please contact our technician
Do you repair cell phones?
Yes we can perform most repairs on cell phones
Why can’t I use a Rogers or Fido phone on Telus or Bell?
Older GSM(Global System Mobile) phones will not work on Telus or Bell because the radio or frequencies of the phone are not compatible. Newer 3G phones have both GSM banding and HSPA(High Speed Downlink Protocol Access) banding that will allow you to use the phones on Telus or Bell or their subsidiaries. 3G offers faster internet and download speeds in North America on the HSPA 850 or 2100 MHz bands
Is there going to be a universal standard for cell phone chargers?
Yes the EU Countries have asked for a standardized charging port. So quite a few of the new phones now use the micro USB connection. But the standard is currently only for Europe so you my still see variations here in North America. I guess it will soon be like 15 years ago when there were only 3 different type of charging ports...
Why won’t my current cell phone work on Mobilicity or Wind?
New cellular companies in Canada work on a system called AWS(Advanced Wireless Service) which is on the 1700/2100 MHz frequency.
Do you buy/trade used phones?
We engage in purchasing/trading of phones
